CHÂTEAU GRANDE ROUCHONNE

In the south of Saint-Emilion la Rouchonne hamlet is in the Vignnet municipality.

Built in 1880 Château Grande Rouchonne has always been dedicated to wine production. Wine sotrehouses were renovated in 2000. Space, organization, and hygiene have always been a priority. We diligently follow-up on all of our wines from the grape picking all the way to the commercialization.

Both St-Emilion château Franc Lartigue and Grande Rouchonne are produced here.

The ground is made up of sand and Graves. The vines are worked in two ranks rows, other ranks being grassed.

The vineyard has a deep, rich history with some of the vines being over 60 years old. This is why much of work must be done by hand as to preserve the fragile thinning out of leaves or green harvest.

After one year of being aged in oak-barrels, a blinding in vats is completed. This vintage product is sold exclusively to a French group.
